Welcome to the home of Petersfield’s annual musical festival.

Petersfield’s premier musical event is an 8-day celebration of music-making with a local focus. You will find more information about individual concert evenings, together with details about the society, on these pages: you can also see pictures of our most recent concerts on the Petersfield Photographic Society’s website here. Learn also how you can become a Friend of the Festival or contribute in other ways to the work of the Festival.

True to the vision of its founders, the heart of the Festival is two choral concerts, where choirs from the area combine to perform the great works of the choral repertoire.

Orchestral music is represented by the thriving 60-strong Petersfield Orchestra, whilst we also welcome celebrity performers in the Petersfield Festival Hall. The Festival promotes the singers, players and audiences of the future through its two popular Youth Concerts, involving hundreds of junior and senior school pupils from local schools.

The
Michael Hurd Memorial Fund, founded and administered by the Festival, provides sponsorship funds to promote the development of young performers and composers in the Petersfield area.

If you’d like to play a part in the Festival then do please
contact us - you’ll be made very welcome. You can find out more about getting involved with the society here and get details of combined rehearsals here.
