Talent and exuberance overflow in the performances by the GSA Singers from the University of Surrey’s Guildford School of Acting, a 24-strong company of performers selected from the Musical Theatre and Acting courses. Their fully choreographed repertoire includes songs from musical theatre and popular classics.
The GSA Singers’ repertoire is a celebration of the great musicals of the last century and pays homage to the most loved and revealed writers of all time, ranging from Gilbert and Sullivan, Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim and Kander and Ebb.
The performance is fully staged, incorporating dance styles that pay tribute to legendary choreographers such as Bob Fosse and Gower Champion, and the vocal repertoire will include everything from Opera, Blues to jazz and Pop.
